Strongly reminiscent of Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s way of shooting, Zack Seckler’s aerial photographs could easily be mistaken for abstract paintings. Or lunar snapshots, of a moon full of fauna.
After the green of Botswana – his project in 2014 – comes the blue of Iceland for the American fine art photographer, who flew over Iceland in a two-seat aircraft in order to shoot from above the beautiful landscapes of this frozen and sparsely populated country, many of which are not accessible otherwise!
If you cannot do the same, but at some point you will be in New York (from March to May), you can admire Seckler’s work in Robin Rice Gallery in Manhattan. Until then, fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the trip.
