They may even be in the four digit spectrum! And this can occur, once their writer J.K. Rowling have signed them. Their value may be even higher in case you have one copy of the first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, if the writer is refered to as Joan Rowling. After the book’s succes, she chose to be refered to as J.K. Rowling, hoping her gender would not be an obstacle for a potential reader.
What is also noteworthy with J.K. Rowling is that -unlike most books- they did not need many years for their price to reach such levels, while it usually takes a few decades to become collectible.
