The Stan Smith, an all time classic of the adidas Originals collection got its name after the successful tennis player Stan Smith. In 1972 after receiving the number 1 world ranking position adidas approached him to sign his own signature sneaker. The video was directed in a style that reminds the Golden Age of Advertising, 1950’s t0 1970’s. Smith in his iconic smile presents his sneakers: a simple mixture of white leather, green accents on the logo and heel tab.
