The final competition for the Triumph Inspiration Award took place on the opening night of Milan Fashion Week, where new designers from the 28 different countries and 70 international universities presented their under-garment creations. Fantasy, creativity, innovation and quality characterized the 24.000 applicants that gave the judges a hard time in deciding their winner. The members of the jury finally concluded on 20 year old James Nolan from Central Saint Martins from Britain with his collection titles “Odette and Odile”. Worth mentioning is Greek participant, Mary Papageorgiou, with her “Centaurs on Heels” submission which made impressions. The next international Triumph Inspiration Award competition will take place in May 2010 and anticipates the same creative geniuses and talent from designers all over the world.
