Alex Seton is a Sydney-based artist, who creates extremelly realistic sculptures of cozy hooded sweatshirts and sweatpants, t-shirts and sportswear from solid Carrara marble, in white or blue-grey. Seton is inspired by ancient Greek or Roman statues and and focuses on subtle folds and creases. He would like to change our stereotypical point of view on certain traditional art materials.
