Frida Kahlo, not only with her unique and rare talent as a painter but also with her versatile personality, was and still is an inspiration for young artists and for the international art world, as well. She had a really painful life but she never stopped chasing her dreams.
Last summer, rare photographs of the iconic woman had been presented in three exhibitions in the United States, two of them in New York city and the other one in Detroit. More specifically, the first one of these exhibitions titled Frida Kahlo: Art, Garden, Life had been presented at the New York Botanical Garden, the second one titled Mirror, Mirror had been presented at Throckmorton Fine Art and the last one titled Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo in Detroit, at the Detroit Institute of Arts.
