The German-born designer Tomas Maier, opened his first boutique at the well-known Upper East Side area in New York. The two-levels boutique, which is measured at around 400 square meters, is inspired by the style that commonly Maier uses at his collections. It’s elegant and modern, with white walls and oak floors. The architectural touches of the boutique are distinguished with the minimalist stairway and the unique slatted doors. His influence from architecture are even more clear with pieces like this eccentric constellation of mirrors, that Maier made in collaboration with artists such as the French-born Christian Astuguevieille and the jeweler Ossana Visconti di Modrone.
