If the reason you are reading this article is ‘Kids’ and ‘Electric Feel’, then you
better turn over the page. There are no such moments in MGMT’s second
album, not even unsuccessful attempts to copying songs like these. At the
end of the day, this is who they truly are; not some guys with a commercial
contract forced to releasing a pop version of themselves. In their current
work, they are open about their love for the 60s psychedelia. They push the
self-destruction button, but the fact they are still around, proves their talent.
