Lately, it looks likeas if Pharrell Williams has became a good business partner for Adidas Originals. There are several collaborations going on between those two, considering the Tennis Colection pt.1 and pt. 2 and the Solid Collection. This time, their collaboration is not a collection but a campaign, which aims to present whatever Williams and his Adidas collaboration present to the world generally. The base for this campaign is unity, love and hope, which was lensed by photographer, Ryan McGinley, art directed by Lloyd & Co. and styled by esteemed fashion editor, Jay Massacret.
The campaign debuts with imagery focusing on products of the Tennis pt.2 collection and groups of people are seen from above, uniting in a green field to form an equal sign, the ultimate symbol signifying togetherness, acceptance and strength. They form a stronger unit, one that communicates optimism and hope. The result is the absolute, visual expression of equality, conveying a synergy that can only be found through real connection.
