Escada brings James Turrell to mind. The brand plays with space, depth and color shades, just like the American artist. Feminine suits, cropped pants and designs that remind of abstract art paintings, follow the brand’s regular designing direction. Sometimes though, the brand’s design director, Daniel Wingate is experimenting on more modern silhouettes, by using contemporary fabric and materials.
