Seems as if number 3 bears some kind of magic for Louis Vuitton. Nicolas Ghesquière drafts the same 3 same photographers -Juergen Teller, Bruce Weber and Annie Leibovitz- for the house’s Spring/Summer campaign.
Ghesquière has progressively revealed the photos of the campaign on his Instagram account, during the past week. Models Freja Beha Erichsen and Jean Campbell make their comeback as the faces of the brand, since they have also participated in the “Series 1″ campaign, Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2014 campign, while Rianne van Rompaey, Daphne Simons and Marte Mei van Haaster, as well as actress Jennifer Connelly add their names to the list.
Named “Series 2″, the campaign was shot in Paris, Miami and New York. Teller shot 4 models in a Parisian manor, Leibovitz shot Freja Beha on the top of 3 skyscrapers of Manhattan, while Connelly was shot by Weber in Miami.
It’s noteworthy that “Series 1″ is the reason why Louis Vuitton has obtained the British Fashion Award for the best ad campaign of the past year. Is Ghesquière aiming to a new award? Well, it seems so.
