Los Angeles-based fashion designer Jeremy Scott has been appointed creative director of the famous Italian brand Moschino. Scott will take over from Rosella Jardini, who was appointed creative director when Moschino died in 1994, and will present his debut collection with the brand at Milan Fashion Week in February, 2014. Scott will aim to build this new fan base, adding his eye-catching motifs to future collections. A statement on the Moschino website reads: “This appointment respects the DNA of the brand as Jeremy Scott represents not only an eclectic and contemporary communicator but most of all a designer capable of re-interpreting the identity and the essence of Moschino.”
