The famous jewellery brand Tiffany & Co. creates an ad campaign entitled Will You? featuring a same sex couple.
The advertisement is about a new line of engagement rings which are showcased by couples in their every day moments. Unlike other companies, Tiffany & Co. uses for the first time a gay couple for an advertisement, a fact that caused controversial responds to the social media.
The two young men who star in the campaign are also a couple in real life and that is the main reason why they were chosen for the ad. The copy reads: “Will you promise to never stop completing my sentences or singing off-key, which I’m afraid you do often? And will you let today be the first sentence of one long story that never, ever ends?” honoring the idea that love transcends age, race and gender.
