Gosha Rubchinskiy reveals his first fragrance, a result of his collaboration with Comme des Garçons Parfums. This fragrance is a fresh, urban Eau de Toilette and it is the Russian designer’s first ever fragrance, which will be visually translated through his new photography book titled Perfume Book.
The perfume is inspired by the designer’s spirit and the post-Soviet youth, whom Rubchinskiy likes to explore. It is indeed a fragrance that oozes the feeling of a summer day as well as the freedom of the young people, in the form of familiar scents such as rubber and tar. It is packaged in a round-shaped bottle designed as an homage to historic Russian perfumes and finished with a wooden cap inspired by the raw materials of skateboards.
The fragrance is a reflection of the essence of youth, a sensory experience that transcends the senses, just like the designer’s own approach to the creative process.
