A Typeface Made From Fried Eggs

friedeggtypeface-625x418

The “Eggs Font” is a new typeface created by the Estonian-based studio, Handmade Font. It is described as being made with 1,000 eggs, 10 pans and 1 bottle of oil – taking approximately 3 hours to complete, having caused 5 burned fingers. Ideal for breakfast menus and quirky art/illustration pieces, each egg white is shaped with precision to form every letter of the alphabet, and the yolks are used to represent holes in the letters: “A”, ‘B”, “D”,”O”, “P” , “Q”, and “R”.
