Apricot is a short film directed by Ben Briand. Originally it was screened six months ago but due to 2010 Vimeo Awards a high definition version of it was uploaded. The ten minute long film revolves around the story of the first love. Two strangers talk about their experience of first love until an unexpected surprise occurs. The film has elements from Sofia Coppola’s The Virgin Suicides and Cate Shortland’s Somersault. During the narration of the story there are elements that make you feel present in every scene such as textures, colours, tastes and sounds.
