We do not know what is more shocking: the fact that this oldskool, cheesy series of the ’90s is turned into a movie or the fact that Zac Efron is in it! Either way, we are waiting for it impatiently!
For the youngsters to find out and the older ones to remember: Baywatch is the series that marked those TV years of the 90’s (for 11 seasons) with those well shapes bodies of David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, reviving the career of Michael Knight and making the latter widely known (or was she widely known because of that sex (video) tape she did with Tommy Lee Jones? Anyway.) What is important here is that Baywatch the movie started shooting these days and Zac Efron will play the part of Mitch’s friend and protegé, Matt. That’s why he hasn’t stopped working out lately, looking more muscular than never. Instagram went crazy with some photos of Zac Efron, competing with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson – aka the new Mitch – even when a scene was over, and fans all over the world are already impatient for the cinema theatre to smell of … summer.
