Hailing from Berlin, Franziska Michael is a young designer who first launched her brand in 2009, right after graduating from the international fashion school ESMOD. Her current collection for Spring/Summer 2014 is influenced strongly by psychedelic patterns and the styles of the 70’s. Such inspiration can only mean one thing; prints, prints and more prints…all over. Franziska uses interesting patterns and then applies them to sport silhouettes, to create: jackets, trousers, shorts, dresses and skirts with matching tops and bottoms. Colours such as green, yellow, red, okra and lime complement the designs, adding to the overall psychedelic effect of the line. Bold and daring, Franziska Michael is a designer that focuses on a unisex audience, a challenge she is more than ready for.
