Over the last two years Riccardo Tisci, Creative Director of Givenchy, has been hiring celebrities, non-models for his campaigns. After Marina Abramovic, musician Erykah Badu and French actress Isabelle Huppert, it is “Pretty Woman” Julia Roberts‘ turn.
“The campaign’s concept describes a powerful, bold woman and Julia Roberts embodies this role extremely well” Tisci states. Even though he has given pieces to her for red carpet appearances, Riccardo Tisci has never been more shocked and excited since he believes that his campaign could not have been represented in a better way. The collection’s minimal elements, the black and white patterns and Roberts’ cooperation make the designer be even more ambitious for his future plans.
