After their two past succesful collaborations, Adidas Originals and the brazilian brand The Farm Company, join forces once again for the sake of the Spring/Summer 2015 collection, inspired by the diversity and the natural wealth of the Amazon. The use of colourful prints as well as the cultural references to native breeds, create a tropical atmosphere, while still beeing well adjusted to the classical sportif style, the brand has been known for.
Their new prints are: Curso d’agua, which pictures a realy famous and beloved place of the native Indians of the Amazon, “with lilies that bloom beneath the glowing sky” and Mexcumerex, which is based on the local customs, including traditional indian body pantings, known as Kayaopo. The collection embodies bones, feathers and other tribal essentials, creating an even more powerful perception of the exotic atmosphere.
