“Le Studio d’ Yves Saint Laurent- Mirror and Secrets“ book by the fashion historian Jéromine Savignon, explores and represents the process behind the Yves Saint Laurent’s iconic Haute Couture collections, when Yves was still alive. The book was out during September and it includes designer sketches and exclusive photographs of the legendary designer at work in various studios along with quotes from YSL co- founder Pierre Bergé. Savignon divides the designer’s creation process into five acts, reporting “The process is a dogged pursuit of perfection in an almost mute effervescence”.
